Winners, Top Picks & Farewell

We at Avadares Challenge Blog would like to thank all who have participated in our challenges. It has been a wonderful journey that, at least for now, we must bring to an end.

Sara is due to have another baby soon (her youngest is just over a year old) so she needs to focus her energies on her family. I am busy learning traditional food preparation and storage methods in order to improve the overall health of my family, so I am in the kitchen much more than at the computer (or craft table) these days. Our wonderful, talented and loyal design team was ready for a break, so it seemed like a good time to close up shop, at least for a while.

Thank you again for making Avadares Challenge Blog a fun place to be. I wish we could award prizes to all of you. Challenge #9 - Easter or Spring

I want to take this opportunity to thank each and every person who has participated in our challenges this last year. You have shared your wonderful designs, encouraging comments and supportive blog posts so generously. Therefore, it is with a regretful heart that I must inform you that this is the last Avadares Challenge for the foreseeable future.

Life is bringing some new challenges at present to Sara Dawn and myself - all good ones, I assure you. Sara is having a new baby very soon so that will make one infant, one toddler and one elementary school child for her. I am taking a course in traditional, all-natural food preparation and storage, so I am doing most of my crafting these days in the kitchen, much to the pleasure of my husband and son.

So... at least for now... we will have to say goodbye.

For our last challenge the theme is EASTER or Spring. Sara Dawn has provided a gorgeous Easter image for our design team and for you to use.
